Albert Einstein on travelling faster than the speed of light
By Speed of light i mean in vacuum in a location where space time is not bend or changing , under those conditions, Speed of light is :- 186,000 miles / second ( about 300,000 km / second ) in a simple way it is fast enough to complete whole circle of our globe 7 and a half times in one second. Yaa , light is really really fast.
In 1905 , Albert Einstein proposed his special theory of relativity , which very elegantly resolved many problems. The theory itself is extremely simple. It has only 2 fundamental principles or " postulates ".
1. Laws of physics are same for everybody.
2. Speed of light is same for everybody.
Suppose i'm travelling at some constant speed and measure the speed of light somehow , i'll get some number. Then i travel at some other speed and measure the speed of light in this scenario , the second principal says that i'll get the same number. Strange right?. Ordinarily we'd expect that they will be different. For example, i am standing still and throw the ball front of me, you'd definitely guess if i was running and throw the ball, then i'd measure smaller speed for it ( supposing that i threw the ball with same force ). But if that ball was light, i will get the same exact speed! This is extremely strange but this phenomenon has been confirmed many times by experiment. Sounds wierd but it's true.
Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity dictates that no known objest can travel faster than the speed of light in vacuum. Unless the objects within the space-time or space-time itself can bend, expand or warp at any speed. Now the question is that " Is this even possible? ". Answer is , maybe yes , by WARP DRIVE, WORMHOLE , QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT and by COSMIC STRING.

We'll discuss about these in detail in my next blog every sunday.
